Everyone meets questions all the time, but not everyone trys to find the answers hard enough. To a certain extent, we people live for answers, because what we have done all the time is to make a clear understanding to this world we live in, to find the best way we can forward to in our lifetime, to experience every scene, to feel every emotion, to catch on why we live, why we act like this and why others act like that.
No answer was forthcoming, and something must be done to find the answer. In this point, people can be seperated in two kinds: answer-seeker and answer-waiter. The former always practice positively to seek the real true answer, and affect others to believe what they believe. The latter always wait for answer to come, and believe what others told them to believe. Apparently, we can’t have the former or latter without another one.
To be an answer-seeker may looks tired, time-wasted, and hopeless, but I have to say this must be an answer-waiter’s thought, in whose eyes no answer is also an answer, and being busy for seeking answer is less valuable than waiting for it to come. But in my opinion, only seeker can live reasonable and colorful life without regret. If you want be to an answer-seeker, this post may be helpful——how to ask questions the smart way.
WTK: forthcoming, catch on
A snail is moving slowly behind his mother with heavy shell on their back. He is tired, then asks his mother: “why should we carry so hearvy shell, while the butterfly can fly in the sky?” His mother says:”because she has a pair of wings by the favor of god”. Then the little snail asks again: “why doesn’t the rainworm carry a so heavy shell?” His mother responses again: “because he has his house by the favor of mother earth.” The little snail bursts into tears. “Child,” his mother continues, “we don’t live by god, don’t live by earth, but we live by ourselves”.
This is a story told by Fu Dekun in a TV program “Win In China”. I had the same feeling as him at the first moment, but the following advices proposed by Yu Minhong changed my mind totally. Yu said: “in fact, the shell was added by yourself, so if you have more courage, you can get rid of it, even grow your own wings, and between heaven and earth you will soar freely.”
These words were my greatest apocalypse these years, shared with you here.
WTK: apocalypse
A free way to communicate with foreigners is “chat” online in a chat room or forum, and Yahoo Messenger is not a bad choice to do this. Open this page http://chat.yahoo.com, download the software, install it and you’ll be able to click the link “join chat rooms” to start chatting. But before you do this, there are a lot of “chat lingoes” (chat slang or acrothym) you have to know. Some are listed below:
JK——————Just Kidding
JMO—————Just My Opinion
k, K, or kk——O. K.
IC——————I See
IDN—————–I Don’t kNow
IDK—————–I Don’t Know
WC——————WelCome
THX—————–Thanks!
TIA——————Thanks In Advance
YW——————You’re Welcome

A few more quick notes on how this “slang and lingo” is created, which are very funny:
They can be put together in many different ways. Also, you will find some kids mixing numbers in with letters, so if you see:
“h3 l3Ft” substitute the 3 with an E, forget about the caps, and you have “he left”.
You will also notice 2 odd items,
1. people tend to extend letters in chat rooms to convey emotion, so HEYYYYYYYY BILLLLLLLL, simply means someone is expressing a lot of emotion in saying hello to Bill.
2. Vowels get left out a lot in chat, and that’s wrd. (in this case, weird, although I’ve seen it mean word)
And lastly, you will see the letter z everywhere. Usually it replaces s or es (the plural of something)
i.e.: 2 many billz = I have too many bills. Although that z gets tossed around a lot, as in hugzzzz, thankz, huggelzzzz, kkz, for OK, etc. Stick with it a while, and you’ll be able to catch most of it.
143 means I love you (1=I, 4=Love, and 3=You, so the meaning comes from the number of letters in each word)
% is usually to replace the double o ‘oo’ , as in T%K means took,
& replaces ‘and’ so b& would be band,
