Teamcenter 2007 is a specific product release of Teamcenter composed of Teamcenter Enterprise, Teamcenter Engineering, Teamcenter (unified architecture), and many of the Teamcenter portfolio solutions like Requirements, Project, etc. While typically referred to as Teamcenter 2007, the deployment option of Teamcenter on the unified architecture is the significant item of this product release. As stated above the term Teamcenter refers to Teamcenter on the unified architecture. Future releases of Teamcenter will drop the year numbers and pick up with Teamcenter 8, Teamcenter 8.1, and then Teamcenter 9, etc.
